StarChat respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the StarChat mobile application (“App”).

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

• Account information (such as email address and authentication provider)
• App usage data (screen views, interactions, crashes)
• Device information (device model, OS version, app version)

We do NOT collect or analyze the personal content of your notes, messages, or voice recordings for advertising purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

• Provide and maintain app functionality
• Improve app performance and user experience
• Monitor crashes and technical issues
• Ensure security and prevent abuse

3. Analytics & Crash Reporting

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app usage and stability. These tools collect aggregated and anonymized data and do not store personal message content.

4. Cloud Storage & User Content

Your notes and content may be securely stored in the cloud to enable sync and backup features. You retain full ownership of your content.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Data may be shared only with trusted service providers strictly for operating the app (such as Firebase).

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure.

7. Children’s Privacy

StarChat is not intended for children under 13. If we become aware that personal data of a child has been collected without consent, we will delete it.

8. Your Rights

You may request account deletion or data removal by contacting us.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
